Have you ever wanted to learn how to hand-dye speckled yarn? Alice O'Reilly, the dyer behind Backyard Fiberworks, will introduce you to speckle dyeing to create beautiful and unique colorways using established methods and your creativity. Each participant will get three 400 yard skeins of undyed sock yarn (you can buy more on site) and have access to all other necessary materials.

Class will be approximately three hours - one hour for discussing color theory, practical dyeing tips, safety precautions, and other topics. The other two hours will be devoted to hands-on dyeing!
