Dyeing Workshop: Make your own O.O.A.K. Colorway

Have you ever wanted to learn how to hand-dye tonal /semi-solid yarn or speckled yarn?  Alice O'Reilly,  the dyer behind Backyard Fiberworks, will introduce you to kettle and speckle dyeing to create beautiful and unique colorways using established methods and your creativity. Each participant will get three skeins of un-dyed yarn, you choose the weight, and have access to all other necessary materials. You can purchase more skeins to dye if you like.  Additionally, if you would like to OVER-dye some yarn that you already have, feel free to bring it as well.

The class will be approximately three hours- one hour for discussing color theory, practical dyeing tips, safety precautions, and other topics. The other two hours will be devoted to hands-on dyeing!

There are TWO sessions.  Click on the session you want to register. Session A is 9 am t 12 pm and Session B is 1 pm to 4 pm.  The workshop is limited to 8 registrants.
